The Fourth Step of procuring The Philosopher's Stone
Called Lupus Metallorum, this symbol can represent either the success or failure of the creation of The Philosopher's Stone. It also, in part, represents the 51st element, Antimony. Many Alchemists represent the element with a wolf, due to its Latin name. Antimony is not one of the 7 metals of alchemy, but rather a result of the process, even though it doesn't create the element Antimony.
