A-Z of the alphabet of daggers
The alphabet of daggers is a substitution cipher developed by the 19th century occultist Aleister Crowley (who also created a famous image of the figure Baphomet). Appearing in his work “The Vision and the Voice”, this cipher is based on the traditional Roman alphabet but replaces the letters with groupings of small pointed lines that resemble daggers, knives or swords, hence its name.
