Sri Yantra should be installed facing the north-east or east direction in your office, home, shop, vehicle etc... on Fridays one hour after sunrise. The place should be cleaned well and a clean cloth of golden, yellow or silver should be placed above which the Yantra should be installed. The tip of the yantra should face the east. You should perform 'Abhishekam' (bath consisting of milk, saffron, water) after installing the yantra. While performing the rituals one should chant the Sri Yantra mantra 'Ayeem hreem namaha'.
