The Regional Municipality of York (RMY) lies immediately north of the City of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and includes 9 lower-tire municipalities to wit the Cities of Markham and Vaughan; the Towns of Aurora, East Gwillimbury, Georgina, Newmarket, Richmond Hill, and Whitchurch-Stouffville; and the Township of King. RMY plus the City of Toronto together constitute the former County of York.
